5.7.2. Check of a control system by the engine

The electronic control unit constantly запитывается from the storage battery through a conclusion «38» protected by a safety lock No. 41 (7,5 And), being in the assembly block of a motor compartment. At turning on of the switch of devices and a starter tension from the storage battery arrives on conclusions «25» both «37» EBU sockets and a conclusion «7» electromagnetic valves останова a diesel engine on a chain protected by the fuse No. 25 (10 And), being in the assembly block of salon of the car. Besides, the resolving signal from an immobilizer through a conclusion «30» connects a conclusion of "106" blocks of the EBU socket that leads to short circuit of a power chain of the relay of inclusion before - and poststarting heating on "weight". At operation of the specified relay tension moves on heating candles during time depending on temperature of cooling liquid. Permission to start-up of the EBU engine receives through a conclusion «28» on a chain protected by the fuse No. 26 (7,5 And), being in the assembly block of salon of the car. On cars with the conditioner at operation of the engine idling the conclusion of "8" blocks of the EBU socket is connected on "weight" on a chain protected by the fuse No. 6 (7,5 And), a food moves on the relay of turning on of the conditioner. At operation of the specified relay the compressor of the conditioner and tension turns on arrives on the electromagnetic valve of the accelerated idling on a chain protected by the fuse No. 30
(7,5 And). Checks are carried out according to indications of tab. 3.15 — 3.17.

Checks are carried out on conclusions of a block of wires of the EBU socket (see fig. 3.43), thus the plug socket should be disconnected from EBU. During measurements plug sockets of checked devices are not disconnected.

Checks are carried out on conclusions of a block of wires of EBU (see fig. 3.43) at the joined shtekerny socket. For simplification of checks it is necessary to use the transitional block connected consistently between EBU and its shtekerny socket.

    PREVENTIONS
That at check and adjustment COURT not to get traumas and not to put out of action system knots, observe the following rules:
— do not allow operation of the engine if clips of wires are badly fixed on plugs of the storage battery;
— do not disconnect a wire from plugs of the storage battery on the working engine;
— disconnect the storage battery from an onboard network at its charging on the car from an extraneous source of a current;
— do not start the engine by means of an extraneous source tension more than 12 In;
— do not separate the EBU socket at the included ignition;
— before connection of plug sockets be convinced of absence of damages and oxidation traces on contacts of vilochny and rozetochny parts, and also in reliability of connection of sockets;
— make sure available a rubber sealant of blocks and a fixing spring;
— the damaged spring replace;
— before work on the car with electric welding application including dot, separate the EBU socket.
— remove EBU if the car is exposed to influence of temperatures from above
80 ° With (for example, before a room of the freshly painted car in the drying chamber);
— before compression check in cylinders separate the plug socket (gray color on TNVD) the electromagnetic valve останова a diesel engine;
— do not check a wire and their connection by a control lamp;
— do not check «on a spark» tension existence in a chain;
— disconnect the storage battery before measurement of resistance of elements of electric equipment of the car;
If the car is equipped with an autoradio tape recorder with a code, before shutdown of the storage battery remember a code of inclusion of an autoradio tape recorder.
At checks it is forbidden to attach tips of lengthening wires of the control device to socket conclusions. It is necessary to shift a protective cover of a block and to attach tips from an entrance of wires in a block or to use a special terminal block. In the latter case marking of conclusions of a terminal block should correspond to marking of conclusions of the EBU socket.


Preliminary checks
Before check COURT perform the works described below, and eliminate the malfunctions revealed thus:
— be convinced of normal work of a chain of start-up of the engine: storage battery, power wires and starter;
— be convinced available enough of fuel of the corresponding quality, of the correct installation of the fuel filter, and also that the filter is not littered;
— check tightness of systems of a retsirkulyatsiya паров fuel and karterny gases, and also a condition of hoses of system (should not be pressed);
— check air intake system: pipelines and laying should be tight, collars are tightened, the filtering element should be pure; the system of a retsirkulyatsiya of the fulfilled gases should be serviceable, pipelines are tight;
— check a condition of a chain of prestarting heating: an integrity and compliance of wires to recommended characteristics;
— the engine power supply system fuel should be tight, podtekaniye in unions and pipelines are not admissible;
— be convinced of tightness of system of production of the fulfilled gases; check a condition and adjustment of a cable of a drive of management by supply of fuel: a course from an emphasis against the stop and ease of moving; length of a course of a control lever supply of fuel depending on the provision of a pedal;
— estimate a technical condition of the engine: compression, installation of an initial corner of an advancing of injection of fuel, tightness of laying of a head of the block of cylinders, TNVD condition etc.
