5.3.4. Dismantling, check of a technical condition and repair of a head of the block of cylinders

For dismantling establish a head of the block of cylinders on a suitable support. Remove an inlet collector, nozzles and starting candles. Remove by means of a stripper gear pulleys from each end of a camshaft. Gradually weaken and unscrew nuts of fastening of covers of bearings of a camshaft, mark and remove covers of bearings. Remove a camshaft and pushers, and then stalnik from a camshaft.
Never use a magnet for extraction of pushers. It can lead to magnetization of a ball and, as a result, to violation of tightness of the return valve. Besides, at installation pushers should be in working situation to avoid air hit in their chambers of a high pressure. Remove valves by means of the adaptation for compression of springs of the FACOM U43LA type. Lay one after another removed details: crackers, plate of springs, springs, basic washer, valve. Remove maslootrazhatelny caps from directing plugs of valves by means of special nippers. Remove cases of nozzles and take out thermoprotective washers. Remove glow plugs.
Carefully clear all details. Do not use a metal scraper for cleaning of the interfaced surfaces of a head of cylinders. Apply to this purpose chemical solvent of the Loctite Dexapjoint or Decaloc 88 type.
Check a condition of valves and their saddles. If on them there are damages, прошлифуйте the corresponding grinding circles of the NEWAY type. Corners of polishing are specified in tab. 3.6. Check a gap between cores of valves and directing plugs. Check a condition of a camshaft and its bearings. On cams and necks there should not be a considerable wear. Parameters for check are specified in the camshaft characteristic.
Establish on directing plugs new maslootrazhatelny caps. Establish directing plugs, watching to damaging maslosjemny caps. Establish basic washers of springs, springs and the top plates of springs.
Plates of final valves have the special device turning the valve in the axial direction for its uniform wear. It is not necessary to confuse them to plates of springs of inlet valves.
Establish into place crackers, previously having compressed springs of valves the adaptation. Grease pushers and insert them into the nests. Grease with engine oil of a neck and camshaft cams. Establish into place a camshaft and gradually tighten the set moment of a nut of fastening of covers of bearings.
Put new epiploons since each end of a camshaft. Establish an inlet collector, forward and back covers, gear pulleys. Establish new thermoprotective washers, then nozzles and glow plugs.
Turn a camshaft so that valves of the 1st cylinder were closed.
