4.5.3. Check of an axial gap of a cranked shaft

Establish persistent half rings in nests of an average support so that flutes for greasing were turned towards a cranked shaft, establish in the block of cylinders loose leaves of bearings. Grease and enclose in bearings a cranked shaft. Establish to the place of a cover of bearings with loose leaves. Shooters on covers should be directed towards a drive of camshafts. Tighten the set moment new bolts of fastening of covers. Establish the indicator so that his leg rested against an end face of a cranked shaft. Shifting by means of the lever a cranked shaft in the axial direction, determine its moving by the indicator. If moving does not correspond to the recommended size, replace persistent half rings.
