2.8.2. Replacement of cooling liquid of the engine

Stop the engine and let's to it cool down.
Even in this case at removal of a cover it is necessary to show care. Wrap up a thick fabric round a cover and slowly turn it counter-clockwise to the first limiter. Depart from a radiator for the period of pressure dumping.
When you are sure that pressure decreased, press on a cover, having wrapped up it a fabric, turn and remove it.

ATTENTION
Cooling liquid of the engine damages a paint and varnish covering.
If cooling liquid of the engine got on the painted surface, immediately wash away it.

Uncover a broad tank of system of cooling (fig. 2.305).

Remove the bottom cover.

Unscrew a drain stopper of a radiator and merge cooling liquid of the engine in the container (fig. 2.306).
Wash out system of cooling by water under pressure, before water decolouration on an exit.
Let's to water flow down completely from system.
Tighten a drain stopper of a radiator.
Inhaling moment: 1,2–1,5 N · m.
Choose concentration of antifreeze according to provided table 2.34.
Add cooling liquid in a broad tank of system of cooling to a maximum label.
Establish a cover of system of cooling.

ATTENTION
If the arrow of the index of temperature of cooling liquid came into a red zone, stop the engine and wait, while it will cool down to prevent an overheat.
After that reveal a faulty element and repair or replace it.

Start the engine and leave it to idle, while the shooter of the index of temperature will not be is in the scale center, and frequency of rotation of the engine will be less than 1500 mines-1.
After the engine will get warm, execute the following, supervising temperature of cooling liquid of the engine the thermometer.
Let's to the engine work on 2500 mines-1 within 5 minutes.
Let's to the engine work on 3000 mines-1 during 5 with, and then leave it to idle.
Again let's work to the engine on 3000 mines-1 during 5 from two times.
Stop the engine and let's to it cool down.
Check level of cooling liquid.
If level low, add cooling liquid in a broad tank of system of cooling to a maximum label.
Be convinced of absence of leakage of cooling liquid.
In the presence of leak, define a defective detail and repair or replace it.
