10.2.3. Dismantling and generator assembly
Fig. 8.3. Generator details: And — the Mitsubishi generator for petrol engines; B — the Hitachi generator for petrol engines; In, G — the Hitachi generator for diesel engines; 1 — a pulley; 2 — the fan; 3 — a cover from a drive; 4 — the bearing; 5 — a rotor; 6 — a stator; 7 — a shchetkoderzhatel; 8 — a tension regulator; 9 — a shchetkoderzhatel together with a tension regulator; 10 — the vypryamitelny block; 11 — a cover from contact rings; 12 — the vacuum pump; 13 — the condenser
Dismantling and assembly of the generator does not represent complexity if will be guided fig. 8.3
on which the sequence of removal and installation of details is shown.
At survey of details check:
— a condition of brushes, degree of their wear, a prileganiye of brushes to contact rings and effort of pressing of brushes;
— appearance of contact rings. Clear contact rings the pure rags moistened in gasoline or трихлорэтилене. Cleaning of contact rings is allowed by only fine-grained grinding paper;
It is forbidden to use coarse-grained paper in these purposes.
— condition of bearings. They do not demand maintenance as in them durable greasing is put;
— appearance of a rotor and stator. Be convinced that their windings have no breaks and podgoraniye traces.
Electric characteristics of the generator should not be checked in the scheme with tension more than 14 Century at all. Otherwise some elements of the generator can fail.
Vypryamitelnye diodes of the generator are very sensitive to temperature therefore at their replacement make the soldering as soon as possible, using a soldering iron of low power.
